"Spirit Award" Bursaries

We call this a “Spirit Award” because the young people who receive these bursaries have shown personal accomplishment throughout their high school years, despite adversity and challenging circumstances. They are not evaluated on their scholastic abilities. We also encourage them to have volunteered within their community.

We provided 11 Spirit Awards to date in 2008 to Grade 12 graduates in South and North Delta. We work with the schools to find the most deserving students and offer $500 to each towards their post-secondary education.
