We call this a “Spirit Award” because
the young people who receive these
bursaries have shown high energy and dedication throughout their
high
school years. They may not have top grades, but were instead
recognized
for having persevered in adverse circumstances, scholastically
or
personally.
We provide 6 Spirit Awards annually to Grade
12 graduates in South Delta. We work with the schools to find
the 6 most deserving students and offer $500 to each towards
their post-secondary education.To date we have given out 22 bursaries totaling $10,500.
