Discoveries Thrift Store

We pride ourselves in offering quality items that will attract customers of all ages and incomes. Our pricing and special sales events attract our local and neighbouring communities. We gratefully accept donations that are in good condition such as:

• Clothing
• Housewares
• Small appliances
• Small furnishings
• Books
• Children’s items
• Collectibles

We do NOT accept large furniture or mattresses due to space restrictions.

As a matter of fact, most people don’t even know that they are in a thrift store! As they walk through the door, it is a bright and clean shop where donated goods are attractively displayed.

This store is our main source of fundraising for our youth mandates.

Mid-Month Madness Sale

On the 3rd Saturday of each month, you can draw for discounts of between 10% - 50% off your day's purchase. This is another way of thanking our customers.

Volunteers are always needed, Join us for YOUTH TUESDAYS throughout the summer time and meet our youth Manager, Katrienna.
If you are 12 and older, please consider joining our volunteer team. both teens and adults of all ages and abilities. Any and all help is truly appreciated! Our dedicated volunteers and store manager co-ordinate an efficient operation in a pleasant and congenial environment. We also provide snacks daily.

We also are looking for local crafters to be able to have them showcase their items by allowing them to sell items at a designated table within the store. We are interviewing youth to sell collectible items on e-bay for our store!

Fundraising Fashion Show: Friday, May 9, 2008 at 1:30 at the McKee Senior Centre in Ladner. All fashions & accessories will come from our Discoveries Thrift Store and modelled by our volunteers. Tickets available at the McKee Senior Centre in April.
